Project Samurai

Project Samurai is a 2D action platformer. Players must guide their character through the world based on old time Japan. The player will traverse through tiled based levels. These levels contain different themes aesthetically such as dark caves, japanese mountains, dense forests and villages in Japan.

You control a samurai, whose mission is simple. Defeat the demons terrorising your home village and find out who is causing chaos and destruction. 

To save those around them, the player must attack and defeat these demons to progress throughout the game. This game forces the player to defeat these enemies in waves, in which the player must be careful as they could die should they take too much damage and possibly revert back to the last checkpoint the player passed.

A game made for a college project in BTEC year 1 level 3.

We couldn't create many levels due to time restrictions but we hope you enjoy regardless.
